This is Mr. Honn's 9th year at Greenwood Elementary.  He has been teaching for 24 years now.  Mr. Honn attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville, Missouri and received a B.S. in Elementary Education and Learning Disabilities in 1999 ( Go Bearcats!!!!).  He earned his master’s degree from The University of Kansas in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading in 2005. 
  Before coming to Greenwood, Mr. Honn taught for 13 years at Hazel Grove Elementary in Lee's Summit, Missouri.  Before teaching at Hazel Grove Elementary, Mr. Honn taught for 2 years at Timbercreek Elementary in Raymore, Missouri(My Hometown).    
  Mr. Honn enjoys playing and watching many sports.  Mr. Honn’s favorite teams are the Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, University of Michigan Wolverines, Lee’s Summit West Titans, Detroit Red Wings, New Orleans Saints, and the Kansas City Royals .  When Mr. Honn finds time to relax , he likes to spend time with his wife, Brandy, his daughter, Hannah, and his son, Brendan.  Mr. Honn likes to play golf, bowl, paint houses in the summers, and watch his daughter dance on the Texas Tech Pom Squad and his son play tennis.
